In 1958, Orson Welles had written, directed, and starred in an epic film, Touch of Evil, which was based on a novel called Badge of Evil. Furthermore, Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, and Marlene Dietrich were the main stars of this movie, along with Orson.
This movie only took three months to make, and it was an instant success in Europe, although unfortunately, not enough to win an Oscar. Furthermore, Orson received positive reviews from critics because he brought an original twist to the movie adaptation.
