50 Unknown Facts From I Love Lucy

When I Love Lucy aired on television for the first time in 1951, it became an instant success that grew a diverse fanbase of millions of people. Before the show, Lucille Ball was a model, singer, and actress, and her husband, Desi Arnaz, was a laborer, aspiring actor, and musician. The two stars of the show were married in real life and on TV for two decades, and no one wanted to see Lucy's silly antics end after six seasons.

Both Lucille, Desi, and other casts members of the show certainly shaped generations with their sitcom, and it will continue to thrive in television history despite most of the actors now being deceased. Lucille and Desi built their marriage and lives around the monumental show for years, and they also were both able to earn numerous achievements and awards because of the time they had spent on the show.
