Throughout the film, the trolls want Anna and Kristoff to have a fairytale relationship, although after they sing the lyrics, "Fixxer Upper," they must have invoked magic to keep them separated because it is not until then that Hans becomes more of a villain and tries to break the couple apart.

Fans suggest that Wall-E has a more sinister motive, and he is the only robot left on Earth because he killed the rest of them, seeing that they junked every item on Earth, versus sifting through it like Wall-E to see if there are any treasures.

and they draw this conclusion from the fact that Elisa is obsessed with water and magically grows gills by the end of the story.
